We recently returned home from an amazing trip to Paris/London. We are a family of 4, with two boys ages 20 and 17 yrs., that had a bucket list of things to do and places to see while in London. Simon Thomas was able to seamlessly check all of those items off our list, in 5 short days!We had private tours of Westminster Abbey and The Tower of London (Justin did an outstanding job providing historical information in an engaging manner for our whole family). Simon Thomas took us on private tour of the Notting Hill, Kensington Palace and Kensington Gardens (areas steeped in history, that Simon articulated so well)!Simon arranged a car service for us, that we used on three occasions, and they were very prompt and reliable. Additionally, he recommended many restaurants for us to try and arranged all of the dinner reservations. They were outstanding; particularly Veeraswamy. This was the BEST Indian food I have ever eaten and our family favorite. The English Pubs: Grenadier's Pub and The Audley were wonderful! The Harry Potter attraction at Warner Brothers should not be missed, if you are a fan. Well worth the time and money. Both of our boys were in awe! Also, if you are a football fan, visit Chelsea Stadium. Our oldest has been a fan since he was 4 and was in heaven walking around the stadium and in the locker rooms!Thank you, Simon, for a truly amazing family vacation!Privacy RequestedKind regards,Lisa
Hello Lisa,Elliot and I wanted to follow up with you regarding our recent trip to London. We had a wonderful time, every moment, every experience - all of it. Simon Thomas is responsible for us being able to say that. Lisa, you have a remarkable gift to be able to recognize true talent. Simon’s gifts cannot be taught. As a concierge he was attentive, but not intrusive. He was friendly, yet professional. He listened carefully, then followed thorough. His attention to detail - even the very smallest - was evident throughout our trip. Our itinerary was flawless, right down to the time we should leave our apartment in order to catch the underground. It was clear he did a great deal of advanced preparation to which we were the true recipients.SimonThomas checked in with us briefly each day to remind us he was available should any need arise and confirm our appointments for the following day. Wherever we arrived, be it lunch, a tour, an activity - all were aware of our arrival and requests and were fully prepared. Whether it be a specific table, food (caviar at lunch), occasion (our anniversary), activities (rubbing at St. Martins with a private alcove all set up with tea and treats upon our arrival) - I could go on and on - but the point is the same - Simon did a remarkable job that only happens by paying very close attention. But more than that, he demonstrated a true personal desire that we have a wonderful time. Really, that’s the part you can’t teach someone - the motivation to do a top-notch job, not so you get accolades, but because it’s important to you in your heart to get it right and take pride in a job well done. That’s the reward. Simon went above and beyond, not out of obligation or because it’s his job, but because he really wanted to.As a guide he was knowledgeable, interesting and informative, but not ever a know-it all. Simon Thomas has a wonderful quiet confidence, yet a very humble and warm manner about him. He moved about at our pace and never rushed us or stressed about sticking to the itinerary. There were many times that we veered him off course - wondering what was down a little pathway, what that marking was on a building - he just rolled with it all. And he stuck with us throughout the entire day - even when it got to be approaching evening - I believe we parted ways - after being delivered safely back right to our doorstep with groceries in hand to make dinner - around 7:30 pm (having met up that morning at 8:30 am with updated itinerary in hand and an assortment of tickets/reservations to hand off to us). He never tired and was relaxed and an absolute delight and pleasure to be with the entire day.Lisa, we were thrilled with your services when we visited Paris and our hope was that our visit to London would be as fantastic. What we did not anticipate was that it would be even better - we didn’t know that was possible. But as a team, you and Simon have left us with wonderful memories that will last a lifetime. Thanks to you.You will hear from us again. We will continue to recommend you highly and tell others they should look no further. Our very best to you and Simon,Judy and Elliot
We wanted to thank you so very much for all of your work in helping make our trip such a wonderful experience for our family. We had an especially fun day at the Chelsea tour and Warner Brothers Studio Tour in London. Both of my girls play club soccer in San Diego, and they were delighted to see the jerseys of some of the famous players in the visitor locker room and home locker room during our Chelsea tour. The facility was beautiful and our tour guide was full of fun facts. The Plaza Hotel was a perfect place for our home base. My family enjoyed having breakfast while looking at the House of Parliament in the mornings. The drivers were very pleasant and courteous and always on time. Thank you again for all of your assistance in helping make our trip a great one!
Our trip isn't over but I wanted to drop a note to say how much we appreciated the two days out with you as our guide. Everything went so smoothly and we couldn't be happier! Briley said the saddest part of the day was saying goodbye to you - she loved the extra attention! The girls had a blast, and Harrod's will also be happy with our purchases today! Tea time there was very relaxing. The carriage ride was just awesome, and Briley said her waving hand was sore 🙂
Thanks for being part of our 'family' for two days and also doing all the work getting this set up so quickly.
Dear Simon,Jeff, Ian, and I will treasure the memories from this special visit. Even the weather cooperated. Your guidance and direction made the difference in creating a seamless experience.

We just returned from our afternoon at Oxford and I wanted to let you know that we thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Jane. It was interesting and fascinating. Thank you very much for setting up our meeting with her and for delivering our tickets to our flat. I appreciate all of your assistance.

We arrived back in Dallas yesterday after an absolutely fantastic trip. All the details that you planned worked out perfectly. The guides you choose, John and Donna were so full of knowledge and fun facts that we didn’t want to leave either of them when our tours were finished. Both John and Donna were above and beyond what we had hoped for. They really made our trip! Even Caroline thought they were cool and interesting! We took many of your other suggestions for dinner and shopping as well. And the trips to ASL as well as Walton on Thames were personal highlights. Thanks for your careful planning. We already are talking about the next trip.Take care and thanks again.
We just wanted to let you know what a wonderful job Simon did creating our itinerary and making our stay in London an exceptional one. Thanks to Simon, we thoroughly enjoyed planning our trip and were very impressed with his amazing attention to detail. Here are a few highlights of the unparalleled service he provided for us:Soon after we arrived in our flat, Simon came by to greet us and familiarize us with the area. He brought us a gorgeous bouquet for flowers - what a lovely way to be welcomed to your beautiful city! He also brought us menus from local restaurants and various maps & brochures. After he reviewed our itinerary with us, he accompanied us to the tube and helped us purchase our Oyster tickets. He then went with us to the Borough Market and the London Eye. Along the way, he was a wonderful tour guide and he immediately helped us get our bearings. While every day of our trip was wonderful, the fourth day was particularly spectacular and thanks to Simon it went off without a hitch. In the morning, my daughters and I had our hair done at the Paul Edmonds Salon. Afterwards we had a photo shoot with Stef Kerswell, then we went to tea at the Ritz and finished the day with an evening at the theatre. Simon joined us for the photo shoot and helped us find some lovely locations. He also assisted us with our coats and bags and even helped navigate traffic while we tried to recreate the Beatles Abbey Road photo:) The photos turned out beautifully and are a wonderful memento of our trip. We were given a fabulous table at the Ritz and our seats to see Wicked were perfect.Simon also arranged a fantastic day trip for us to Oxford and the Cotswolds. Simon made sure to pick a guide who would be a good match for our family. Donna, our Blue Badge tour guide, spent almost 11 hours with us and it really could not have gone any better. She is incredibly knowledgable and her lively and fun personality blended beautifully with our family. She really made history come alive and was an expert on all things Harry Potter. This was a highlight for our 10 year old twin daughters and it really made the place feel magical for them. While our trip had many high points, working with Simon and Your London Experience was at the top of our list. Your Gold VIP service is aptly named because that is how we were made to feel throughout our entire trip. Simon did an absolutely brilliant job!
It has been an absolute pleasure working with you. Your suggestions for activities were great, we really enjoyed all of the guides, and your subway directions were flawless! We really appreciated your frequent checks on us and for taking care of all of the confirmations. We will definitely recommend you to any of our friends who will be doing to London.
